Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with 1–3 years of experience in raw material procurement for a manufacturing company. Candidates having hands-on experience in vendor sourcing, purchase order (PO) generation, rate negotiation, quotation comparison, follow-up with vendors, and purchase documentation will be preferred.

Only candidates with relevant Purchase/Procurement experience should apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase raw materials required for furniture manufacturing.
- Source and develop new vendors for plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, fittings, adhesives, packaging materials, and other raw materials.
- Collect quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate Purchase Orders (PO) and Release Orders (RO) accurately.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts departments regarding purchase requirements.
- Verify purchase documents, delivery challans, invoices, and GRN.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, and quality concerns.




- Monitor inventory and coordinate purchases to avoid stock shortages.

Required Experience & Skills

- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Purchase Executive/Purchase Officer/Procurement Executive in a Manufacturing Company.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Raw Material Purchasing
- Vendor Sourcing & Vendor Development
- Quotation Collection & Comparison
- Price Negotiation
- PO / RO Preparation
- GRN
- Vendor Follow-up
- Purchase Documentation
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP/Purchase Software is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Preference

Candidates from Furniture, Modular Furniture, Interior, Plywood, Wood, Hardware, Kitchen Manufacturing, or similar Manufacturing Industries will be given preference.
