Looking for a Service Engineer – F&B; Process to provide professional after-sales service and technical support to customers. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and customer training for industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate should have robust field-service experience, be comfortable working independently at customer sites, and be willing to travel extensively across India and, when required, internationally.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, calibration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide on-site and telephone-based technical support to customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and solution-oriented service.
- Review technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and documentation before installation, startup, or troubleshooting.
- Provide pre-installation assistance and ensure smooth equipment startup.
- Train customer personnel and technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Spare Parts, and other internal teams to resolve escalated problems.
- Prepare service reports, expense reports, failure reports, and other required documentation.




- Maintain proper records of defective parts and coordinate their return or replacement.
- Provide technical recommendations regarding equipment, spare parts, and wear parts.
- Coordinate with the Service Team and Service Coordinator to ensure timely completion of site activities.
- Support customer projects, equipment refurbishment, and related engineering activities when required.
- Provide technical assistance to other Field Service Engineers/Technicians.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe working practices at customer sites.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and measuring instruments in good working and calibrated condition.
- Be available for overtime, weekend, or holiday work when required by project/site schedules.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Service Engineering, preferably in FMCG, Food & Beverage, or process equipment industries.
- Experience with capital equipment and field installation/commissioning.
- Hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and commissioning.
- Experience with Water Treatment Plants, ETP, STP, RO, UV, UF, ZLD,



or similar process equipment will be preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle customer-site responsibilities.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer literacy and ability to prepare service reports and documentation.
- Willingness to travel Pan India and internationally as required, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Field/Service Engineer with experience servicing industrial or process equipment, strong troubleshooting capabilities, good customer-handling skills, and a willingness to travel extensively. Preference will be given to candidates with F&B;/FMCG or water-treatment equipment experience.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
