About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Engineer with strong React Native and iOS experience to build and operate a high-traffic, mobile-first news application.

This is a full-stack role with a robust focus on React Native, native iOS development, application performance, payments, subscriptions, and App Store releases. You will also work with NestJS APIs and headless CMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and build production React Native features using clean, scalable patterns.
- Develop native iOS modules and custom UI using Swift or Objective-C where required.
- Build and maintain iOS payment, in-app purchase, and subscription flows.
- Own the complete App Store release lifecycle, including signing, TestFlight, submission, and production releases.
- Optimise app performance including startup time, bundle size, lists, images, memory usage, and 60fps performance.
- Implement push notifications, deep linking, offline-first synchronisation, and analytics.
- Consume and integrate REST/BFF APIs and CMS-driven content.
- Work with NestJS backend services and collaborate across frontend, backend, QA, product, and editorial teams.
- Diagnose and resolve production payment,



performance, and crash issues.
- Take features from initial concept through production release with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong production experience with React Native, React, and TypeScript.
- Strong iOS development knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Swift or Objective-C and native module development.
- Experience owning App Store releases, code signing, TestFlight, and production deployment.
- Experience with iOS payments, IAP, subscriptions, or payment gateways.
- Experience with production monitoring, crash reporting, and performance optimisation.
- Experience consuming REST/BFF APIs.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of features through production.

Ideal Candidate

You should be comfortable treating the mobile application as a full product rather than simply a wrapper around a website. Strong native iOS depth alongside React Native experience is essential.

Work Environment

This is a remote contract role involving collaboration with product, backend, QA, and editorial teams, particularly around breaking-news and subscription-related workflows.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
