Elevator Erector – Job Profile

Position: Elevator Erector / Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation and erection of passenger, home and commercial elevators.
- Installation of guide rails, brackets, doors, machine/gearless systems, ropes, safety components and elevator cabins.
- Carry out elevator installation work as per approved drawings and safety standards.
- Alignment, leveling and mechanical assembly of elevator components.
- Assist commissioning engineers during testing and trial runs.
- Identify and rectify installation-related issues.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other site teams.
- Complete installation work within the scheduled project timeline.

Required Skills:





- 1–5 years of experience in elevator/lift erection or installation.
- Knowledge of elevator mechanical components and installation procedures.
- Ability to read basic drawings and understand measurements.
- Comfortable working at height and on construction sites.
- Positive teamwork and discipline.
- ITI/technical qualification is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
