About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled AWS IAM Engineer to join our Technology Risk Information Security Organization. This role focuses on supporting the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team and ensuring secure adoption of AWS services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the IAM team within the Technology Risk Information Security Organization.
- Review and evaluate AWS services as they are introduced, with a focus on integration and dependency on AWS IAM services.
- Conduct formal analysis of AWS services within the Service Certification process defined by the Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure team at AXP.
- Assess IAM-related impacts of each AWS service and document recommendations for secure implementation.
- Deliver clear, formal recommendations to enable secure adoption of AWS services by application teams.




- Quickly gain expertise in internal IAM functions as deployed at AXP in AWS public cloud.
- Provide ongoing guidance to ensure compliance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with teams and communicate findings through well-documented reports and presentations.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 8–10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS IAM and identity/access security practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, with a deep understanding of their IAM integrations.
- Proven ability to analyze, evaluate, and document secure implementations of AWS services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing IAM services in AWS public cloud environments.
