What are we looking for?

The Group Claims Department is responsible for the end-to-end management of group insurance claims, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-centric claim settlement while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

As a Deputy Manager – Group Claims, the role is responsible for managing and supporting claim assessment and processing activities for Group Business. The incumbent will work closely with business partners and claim processing vendors to ensure seamless claim servicing, monitor claim performance metrics, drive operational excellence, resolve system and process issues, and strengthen stakeholder relationships through proactive engagement.

9. Conduct regular analysis of claim trends, pendency, and service metrics and recommend process improvements.

Manage partner escalations and facilitate timely resolution to maintain high service standards.

a) Visit partner offices on a regular basis to strengthen relationships, understand operational challenges, and collaboratively resolve claim-related issues.

b) Drive continuous engagement with partners to improve claim servicing efficiency and customer experience.

c) Support audit, risk, and compliance requirements by ensuring timely closure of observations and implementation of corrective actions.

MIS reporting and dashboard preparation.

MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Understanding of insurance systems and claim workflow platforms.
