Job Type: Full-time / Community-Based
Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
Salary: ₹18,000/month
Work Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends
Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with strong technical skills and teaching ability may also apply

About GrowBot

GrowBot is a future-skills learning platform for children aged 6–16, focused on Coding, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, STEM, IoT and Space Exploration.

We are expanding our learning programs into residential communities and apartment complexes across Thiruvananthapuram.

We are looking for an energetic and technically confident STEM & Robotics Trainer who enjoys working with children and can conduct engaging, hands-on learning sessions.

Role Overview

As a GrowBot STEM & Robotics Trainer, you will conduct regular classes for children within residential communities.

The role is not limited to teaching robotics. You will help children build, experiment, solve problems and create projects using technology.

You may conduct sessions across multiple nearby apartment communities, primarily during weekends and, as the program expands, on weekday evenings.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging live sessions in Robotics, Coding, STEM, AI, IoT and related areas
- Teach children aged 6–16 using age-appropriate methods
- Conduct approximately 2 sessions per week per community
- Handle batches of up to 15 students
- Set up and safely manage robotics kits, electronic components and other learning equipment




- Guide students through hands-on projects and challenges
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, logical thinking and problem-solving
- Adapt activities for different age groups and learning abilities
- Track student participation and progress
- Conduct project demonstrations, challenges and community STEM activities
- Participate in introductory/demo workshops for prospective students
- Maintain valuable communication and professional relationships with parents and community coordinators
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, transported and stored
- Travel to different residential communities as required

What We Are Looking For

- Strong interest or background in Robotics, Electronics, Coding, Engineering, Computer Science or STEM
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable teaching and interacting with children
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, sensors, electronics or similar technologies is an advantage
- Basic programming knowledge in Scratch, Python, C/C++ or similar languages is preferred
- Patient, energetic and approachable personality




- Willingness to work Saturday/Sunday and weekday evenings
- Willingness to travel between nearby communities
- Ability to independently conduct a class and manage a group of students

Qualifications

Candidates from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:

- B.Tech / B.E.
- BCA / MCA
- B.Sc / M.Sc Computer Science, Electronics, Physics or related fields
- Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering
- Robotics / STEM / Coding certifications
- Other candidates with strong practical robotics/STEM experience

Teaching experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Important Requirement

This role requires strong availability on weekends and weekday evenings.
