- Dispense medicines accurately as per the prescription and ensure proper dosage and instructions.
- Verify prescriptions and clarify any discrepancies with the concerned doctor.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and monitor stock levels regularly.
- Check the expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions of all medicines.
- Maintain proper records of medicine purchases, issues, returns, and stock movements.
- Ensure medicines are stored safely as per required temperature and storage guidelines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding medication requirements.
- Handle pharmacy billing and ensure accurate entry of medicines in the system.
- Follow hospital pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain controlled/high-alert medication records, where applicable.
- Support periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation within the pharmacy.
- Provide appropriate guidance to patients regarding medication usage when required.
- Report stock shortages, expired medicines, damages, or discrepancies to the concerned authority.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and medication safety practices.
Qualifications
- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy software is preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
