Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Pickup Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day pickup operations of the courier service. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely pickups, efficient route planning, proper coordination with pickup staff and hubs, and maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor daily pickup operations across assigned locations.
- Coordinate with pickup executives, hub managers, branch teams, and customers to ensure timely pickups.
- Plan and optimize pickup routes and schedules for maximum operational efficiency.
- Monitor pickup staff attendance, productivity, and daily performance.
- Track pending, delayed, missed, and completed pickups and take corrective action.
- Ensure all pickup requests are properly assigned and completed within the required timelines.
- Handle operational issues and resolve pickup-related complaints and escalations.
- Coordinate with the CRM and operations teams for smooth processing of pickup requests.
- Monitor daily pickup reports and prepare operational MIS when required.
- Ensure proper scanning, documentation, and handover of shipments collected from customers.




- Conduct regular follow-ups with pickup staff regarding pending or delayed shipments.
- Identify operational gaps and implement measures to improve pickup efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
- Train and guide pickup staff on operational procedures and customer service.
- Coordinate with management and submit regular updates on pickup performance and operational challenges.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in courier, logistics, transportation, delivery, or similar operations.
- Strong knowledge of pickup and delivery operations.
- Positive leadership, team-handling, and coordination skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational activities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of local routes and logistics operations will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel within assigned locations when required.
