Gynae Counsellor – Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Counsel patients and attendants regarding gynaecology, pregnancy, maternity and related procedures.
- Explain treatment plans, investigations, procedures and maternity packages in a clear and skilled manner.
- Provide counselling and support to antenatal and maternity patients throughout their hospital journey.
- Coordinate with gynaecologists, nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Assist patients with admission, investigations, procedures and discharge-related coordination.
- Explain hospital services, packages, billing processes and applicable policies to patients.
- Maintain proper counselling records and follow up with patients as required.
- Ensure patient queries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Support patient conversion and improve patient satisfaction through ethical counselling.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow hospital policies and protocols.
- Escalate medical, financial or service-related concerns to the concerned department.

Pay: ₹11,168.38 - ₹25,000.00 per month
