Profile: Limnologist-Ahmedabad

Experience:

Freshers with relevant educational backgrounds can apply. Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in water quality monitoring, limnology, environmental projects, or aquatic ecosystem management will be preferred. Candidates who have worked on ponds, lakes, natural water bodies, or restoration projects will have an added advantage. Roles:

Conduct field surveys and site visits at ponds, lakes, and other natural water bodies. Collect water and sediment samples and conduct basic water quality analysis. Monitor key water quality parameters and assess the health of freshwater ecosystems. Support pond/lake restoration, remediation, and cleansing activities. Assist in developing and implementing water body improvement plans based on field observations and test results.



Coordinate with project teams during the implementation of water treatment and aeration technologies such as nanobubble and sonic aeration. Monitor changes in water quality and ecological conditions after treatment or cleansing interventions. Maintain accurate records of field observations, sampling data, and test results. Prepare technical reports and assist in providing recommendations to internal teams and clients. Interact with local stakeholders during site visits and communicate project-related information effectively. Qualification:

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Environmental Science, Limnology, Ecology, Aquatic Biology, or a related field. Candidates with a basic understanding of Limnology, Water Chemistry, and Freshwater Ecosystems will be preferred.
