About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 6–7+ years of professional experience to join our remote engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in .NET/C#, Web APIs, SQL databases, and backend development, along with hands-on experience working on FinTech or financial technology products.

You will be responsible for developing scalable and secure backend applications, integrating third-party financial services, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET/C#.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Web APIs.
- Develop secure and reliable solutions for financial and transaction-based applications.
- Work with databases such as SQL Server and optimize complex queries and stored procedures.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, financial services, and other external systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and security best practices.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application failures.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.




- Design solutions that can handle high-volume transactions and maintain data consistency.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical documentation, and development standards.
- Monitor application performance and improve scalability and reliability.

Required Skills

- 6–7+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Solid proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core / Web API.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, queries, joins, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth.
- Experience working with Git and version control systems.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote working environment.

Mandatory FinTech Experience

Candidates must have prior hands-on experience working in the FinTech / financial technology domain.

- Payment processing systems
- Payment gateways
- Digital payments
- Banking or financial platforms
- Wallet systems
- Transaction processing
- Financial APIs
- Reconciliation systems
- KYC/AML workflows
- Billing or invoicing platforms
- Financial reporting
- Secure handling of financial data
- High-volume transactional systems

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
