Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities for petrochemical, refinery and oil & gas projects.
- Review project specifications, client requirements, design basis and applicable engineering standards.
- Lead mechanical engineering activities during FEED, Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering.
- Prepare and review mechanical equipment datasheets, specifications, requisitions and technical documents.
- Handle engineering of pressure vessels, columns, drums, heat exchangers, storage tanks, pumps, compressors and other mechanical packages.
- Review equipment sizing, selection, mechanical calculations and design documentation.
- Prepare and review Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and vendor technical queries.
- Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, datasheets and other engineering documents.
- Coordinate with procurement, vendors, inspection agencies and project teams for timely equipment delivery.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, design reviews, constructability reviews and technical meetings.
- Coordinate effectively with Process, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, QA/QC and Project teams.
- Resolve multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and technical issues.
- Provide technical support to construction, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning teams.
- Review mechanical layouts, equipment arrangements and engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, HSE standards and applicable statutory requirements.
- Lead and mentor junior and senior mechanical engineers within the project team.
- Monitor engineering deliverables, schedules, priorities and resource requirements.
- Interface with clients,
consultants, licensors, contractors and equipment vendors.
- Provide technical solutions for complex mechanical engineering and site-related issues.
- Support project management with engineering progress, technical risks and critical equipment requirements.

Codes & Standards
Candidate should have strong working knowledge of applicable international codes and standards, including:
- ASME Section VIII
- ASME B31.3
- API Standards
- API 650 / API 620
- TEMA
- ASTM
- NFPA
- ISO
- NACE / AMPP, wherever applicable
- Relevant OISD / statutory / client-specific standards
Knowledge of client-specific standards such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, QatarEnergy, Reliance, IOCL, BPCL or other major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical standards will be an added advantage.
Education & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery,
Petrochemical, Chemical or Energy projects.
- Minimum 5+ years in a Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineering role preferred.
- Strong experience in EPC / Engineering Consultancy environments.
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience in client, consultant, licensor and vendor coordination.
- Candidates with FEED + Detailed Engineering + Site/Commissioning exposure will be preferred.

Preferred Experience
Candidates from Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Fertilizer or Energy EPC projects will be preferred.
Experience with major EPC companies, engineering consultants, process licensors or large-scale industrial projects will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
