JOB DESCRIPTION – NPD ENGINEER – MACHINING LINE

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 Gross per Month

Location: Jaipur / Faridabad

Job Purpose

To handle New Product Development activities for machining components and ensure timely development, process validation, quality and smooth transfer of new products to production.

Key Responsibilities

Handle NPD activities for CNC/VMC machining components.

Study customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.

Develop machining process flow, tooling and fixture requirements.

Prepare and review PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow and Work Instructions.

Plan and conduct machine trials and process validation.

Develop and optimize machining parameters and cutting tools.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC, Tool Room and Maintenance teams.

Ensure prototype and sample development as per customer requirements.

Support APQP and PPAP documentation and customer submissions.





Identify process problems and implement effective corrective actions.

Ensure smooth transfer of new products from development to mass production.

Monitor cycle time, rejection, productivity and process capability during development.

Coordinate with tool and fixture suppliers wherever required.

Maintain NPD project timelines, development records and reports.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in NPD / New Product Development.

Hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machining lines.

Experience in Automobile / Auto Components / Gear Parts preferred.

Good knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, fixtures and process parameters.

Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Required Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Valuable knowledge of CNC/VMC machining.

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan and SPC.

Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple development projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹1,422,258.04 per month
