FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR

Essential :

1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant
discipline
2. A Minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching/research and / or industry
at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period
spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic
administration in a University or/and in any of its affiliated College
or/and Research Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts.

AND

3. Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

AND

4. Minimum Research Score of 120

AND

5. Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.

OR

2. In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the
following shall constitute as essential:
3. First Class Master’s Degree in relevant discipline.
4. Significant qualified work which can be recognized as equivalent to a
Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline and industrial/professional experience
of fifteen years managerial experience, out of which at least eight years at




senior level or in a position equivalent to the level of Associate
Professor/Reader.
5. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence
of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published
work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy
projects, and patent filed.

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

1. Essential :
2. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant
discipline.
3. A Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research and / or industry at
the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent
on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic administration in
a University or/and in any of its affiliated College or/and Research
Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts.

AND

3. Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

AND

4. Minimum Research Score of
