Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Excelerate. The Video Editor will assemble and edit video content for learning experiences, marketing campaigns, social media, and partner communications, ensuring robust storytelling and brand consistency. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying transitions, effects, and color grading, and integrating audio elements such as voiceovers and music.



The role also involves collaborating with instructional designers, marketers, and partner teams to interpret briefs, propose creative concepts, and deliver videos on schedule. The Video Editor will optimize content for different platforms and formats, maintain organized project files, and continually refine workflows to improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating high-quality, engaging content.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to design titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
