Role Description The Medical Coding Instructor/Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves delivering structured classroom training in medical coding and related health information subjects, using explicit, engaging instructional methods.



The instructor/mentor will design lesson plans, create learning materials, and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and practical exercises. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining medical terminology and coding standards, guiding learners through real-world coding scenarios, providing individualized feedback, and supporting learners in exam preparation and career readiness. The role also includes collaborating with other trainers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement of the training curriculum.
Qualifications
Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills, with the ability to teach and mentor learners in practical coding applications.
Knowledge of Health Information Management principles and RHIT or equivalent credential (or eligibility), to support accurate and compliant training.
