About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytical and business-oriented Chief of Staff – Finance to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on financial analysis, business performance and decision-making. The role will act as a bridge between Finance, cross-functional teams and leadership, with a strong focus on analyzing financial and operational data, preparing dashboards and reports, and presenting actionable insights to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities.

• Prepare MIS, financial reports and management presentations.

• Analyze actuals vs. budgets, forecasts and business targets.

• Build financial models and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

• Track key financial and operational KPIs.

Dashboards & Business Intelligence

• Build and maintain dashboards for the CEO and senior leadership.

• Consolidate data from multiple functions to provide a clear view of business performance.

• Identify gaps, trends and anomalies through data analysis.

• Improve reporting formats and dashboards based on leadership requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, Sales, Marketing and other teams to gather financial and operational data.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inputs.

• Validate data, identify inconsistencies and follow up for clarification.

• Understand how different functions impact overall business performance.

CEO & Leadership Support





• Work closely with the CEO on financial and business analysis.

• Prepare reports, presentations and insights for leadership reviews.

• Present financial and operational performance to senior stakeholders.

• Highlight key risks, trends, gaps and opportunities.

• Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A;, Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Founder's Office or similar roles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.

• Experience with MIS, dashboards and financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and drive tasks to closure.

• Robust business acumen and attention to detail.

• Comfortable interacting with CEOs and senior leadership.

Preferred

• MBA / PGDM in Finance or related field.

• Experience in a startup, SaaS, technology, e-commerce or high-growth organization.

• Experience working with Founders / CEOs.

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Zoho Analytics or similar tools.

• Prior experience in FP&A;, Strategic Finance, Founder's Office or Chief of Staff roles.
