Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nWe are looking for a Junior Admissions Counsellor to support our Counselling team at the VFS Global Academy, Dehradun. This is an entry-level role focused on lead follow-up, meeting scheduling, and record-keeping, with on-the-job training and mentorship to help you grow into a full counselling consultant role over time.
nKey Responsibilities:

- Follow up with prospective student leads through calls and emailsn
- Schedule client meetings for the senior counsellorn
- Sit in on meetings, take notes and maintain records of each interactionn
- Maintain and update online records of enquiries, follow-ups, and enrollmentsn
- Support the senior counsellor with day-to-day administrative and operational tasksn
- Learn the fundamentals of student counselling through shadowing and on-the-job trainingn

- Minimum qualification: Graduate, any disciplinen
- Location Requirements: Dehradun, in-personn
- Language Requirements: Fluency in both Hindi and English (knowledge of more languages is a plus)n




- Comfortable making calls and writing professional emailsn
- Self motivated and takes initiativen
- Strong computer literacy (spreadsheets, email, online record-keeping)n
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow through on tasksn
- Positive communication skills and a willingness to learnn
- Genuine interest in eventually moving into a senior academic counselling rolen
