About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with robust hands-on experience in Tally and solid accounting knowledge. Candidates with basic scripting knowledge (Python/SQL or automation) will have an added advantage in streamlining financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally.
* Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare GST, TDS, and statutory compliance records.
* Generate financial reports, MIS, and monthly statements.
* Handle invoices, payroll support, and vendor payments.
* Assist in automating reports using basic scripting where required.
Required Skills
* 2–4 years of accounting experience.
* Strong proficiency in Tally (ERP 9 / TallyPrime).
* Good understanding of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
* Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
* Basic knowledge of scripting (Python or SQL) is preferred.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent.
