Role Description The Owner role at GirlScript Summer of Code is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India, responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic direction of the program. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing program planning and operations, coordinating with mentors, participants, and partner organizations,



and ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met. The Owner will manage outreach and communications, including promotional activities, community engagement, and collaboration with sponsors or stakeholders. This role also includes monitoring participant experience, resolving issues, and improving processes to maintain a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment. The Owner will regularly review program metrics, prepare reports, and propose enhancements for future editions of GirlScript Summer of Code.
Qualifications
Experience in program or project management, including planning, coordination, and execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Background in technology or open source development, with an understanding of software projects, version control platforms (e.g., GitHub), and developer workflows.
