Role Description

This is a full-time, in-office role for a Business Research Analyst at Kaitongo in Bengaluru.
The role sits at the intersection of business research, Generative AI and product development. You will work closely with Kaitongo's product team to develop, test and improve AI-powered research workflows used to produce news updates, company and sector intelligence, market reports and other complex research outputs.

A key part of the role will be applying robust business research judgement to evaluate AI-generated outputs — assessing accuracy, completeness, relevance, sourcing and analytical quality — and working with the product team to improve prompts, research workflows and agentic processes.




You will also help conceptualize new research products and output formats based on client requirements, translating open-ended business questions into structured research approaches that can be executed using a combination of GenAI tools, proprietary databases and credible public sources.

Key Responsibilities
Use GenAI tools such as ChatGPT/Claude to to develop effective research/prompting approaches to support agentic processes to review company, industry, sector and competitive intelligence research.
Test and evaluate AI-generated research outputs, identifying factual errors, hallucinations, missing information, weak sources and analytical gaps.
Develop and refine research frameworks, prompts, templates and evaluation criteria for repeatable AI-powered research workflows.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate research methodologies into automated workflows.
