About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous Character and Weapon Animator to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, real-time animations for characters and weapons within our VR game project built in Unity. You will own your assets from initial concept through to implementation in the game engine,



working independently to rig, animate, and troubleshoot your work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hand-keyed animation, rigging, and Unity integration, with a keen eye for detail and performance optimization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking VR project, working closely with designers, developers, and artists to craft compelling and responsive animations that enhance the overall game experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and creative talent, including:

Proven experience in hand-keyed character and weapon animation, with a portfolio or reel demonstrating high-quality work.
Proficiency in rigging and skinning characters and props in Blender, including joint placement, weighting, and control setup.
