What you will do?
Independently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements, and customer contracts
Advise business and leadership teams on legal risks, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters
Manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory proceedings, including coordinating with external counsel and overseeing case strategy
Conduct legal research and provide opinions on complex legal questions across corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory law
Support M&A; transactions, due diligence, and corporate restructuring activities
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies
Draft and review internal policies, SOPs, and governance documents
Mentor and guide junior associates and legal interns
Liaise with regulators, government bodies, and external stakeholders as required




Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and proactively advise the business on potential impacts

What we are looking for?
8–12 years of relevant experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience
LLB/JD from a recognized law school; enrollment with the relevant Bar Council/Bar Association Solid drafting, negotiation, and contract management skills
Sound knowledge of corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory laws applicable to the business
Experience handling litigation and managing external counsel
Ability to work independently, exercise sound business judgment, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal teams
Prior experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
