Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java & Node.js Backend Developer with 8–10 years of robust backend development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, API development, and CI/CD, along with hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code Assist or GitHub Copilot.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing high-performance backend services and communication middleware platforms, while collaborating closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and internal application teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and backend applications using Java 8–21 with Spring Boot and Node.js v16/v22.
Develop and secure RESTful APIs and manage API gateway configurations using Apigee.




Build and manage event-driven, asynchronous, and high-throughput systems using Apache Kafka / AWS MSK or equivalent messaging platforms.
Design, develop, and optimize database objects, queries, stored procedures, and integrations using PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
Manage and enhance existing Email and SMS middleware platforms, including support, development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Work with communication platforms such as SparkPost, Twilio, and Syniverse where applicable.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and OpenShift (ROSA).
Monitor application performance, availability, and system health using New Relic and ELK Stack.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to improve system stability and performance.
