About the role:
At Plum, we believe visuals for health should feel calm, not clinical. We're
creating a world within our app that's warm, human, and unmistakably ours. We're
looking for an illustrator who'll help us expand that world, and grow into
someone who shapes how we draw it.

What you'll work on:

* In-app - Product Illustrations

* Icon systems - building and extending icon families (like health checkup
package or homepage icon sets) with consistency

* Motion - short Rive/Lottie loops and micro-interactions that bring static
illustrations to life

* Emailers - layout and illustration for product marketing emails

By month 6, we'd love for you to be contributing to our style systems and
frameworks — not just producing assets within them.

What we're looking for:
Core

* Hand-drawn illustration skills - you can sketch, compose, and design
characters/scenes

* Solid vector work - clean paths,



comfortable rebuilding a hand-drawn idea
into production-ready art

* Comfortable using Figma/Illustrator & Procreate

* An eye for systems - you notice why a style holds together, not just what it
looks like

* A genuine instinct for inclusive representation - across age, body type,
gender, ability, and skin tones & textures

* Care and sensitivity when illustrating heavier subjects (aging, mental
health, illness)

Valuable to have

* Rive or Lottie experience (must be open to picking up motion)

* Basic layout/typography sense (for emailers - you don't need to be a
specialist)

* Curiosity about AI-assisted reference workflows (we use AI tools for
exploration/pose references in the initial stages of ideation)
