Role Description The Chef role at Toreta is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking menu items that align with Toreta’s healthy and hygiene-focused standards, ensuring meals are freshly made and consistent in taste and quality. Daily tasks include organizing the kitchen station, supervising food prep, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to hygiene protocols, and monitoring ingredient quality and stock levels.



The Chef will collaborate with the kitchen team to optimize workflows, support menu development, and help implement food safety procedures and quality checks. This role involves working closely with management to maintain standards, minimize waste, and deliver meals on time during service hours.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills in planning, preparing, and cooking a variety of dishes, preferably with experience in healthy or clean-label cuisine.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation, including experience with structured hygiene checks.
Experience in high-volume kitchen operations, including inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly with kitchen staff, and follow standardized recipes and processes.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and capability to work in a quick-paced, on-site environment in Gurugram.
