AI Platform Engineer

Med2Measure is hiring a founding AI platform engineer. You will turn peer-reviewed medical science into production software that doctors use, with genuine end-to-end ownership from Day 1. We are an AI-first platform that measures disease from visual and clinical signals to guide treatment decisions and research.

An introduction to us:
We are building tools that measure disease from visual and clinical signals that will guide treatment decisions and research. Clinical measurement is crucial in medicine and medical research, yet it remains manual, subjective and siloed. We are rethinking it by harnessing AI to turn such visual information into automated quantitative data pipelines, so that measurements become democratized, auditable and scalable.

Where do you fit in?
You will be our first in-house technical hire, with genuine end-to-end ownership over architecture, tooling, and delivery. As a founding engineer you get to don multiple hats: systems architect, ML engineer, DevOps lead, security engineer, and product thinker,



gaining breadth that would take years to accumulate at a larger company. The work also offers co-authorship in publications, opportunities for medical conference presentations, current collaborations, and access to clinical data.

The problem we're hiring for:
Rheumatologists manage diseases like rheumatoid arthritis that produce inflammation and deformity in joints. Treatment depends on how active the disease is. Disease activity is measured using composite scores like DAS28, which require counting swollen and tender joints, incorporating lab values, and recording patient-reported health. Today, this process is manual, repetitive, and subjective. The clinical expertise to do it well is restricted to a few specialist practitioners, making it hard to scale or standardize.
