Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week. Work from Office.

Responsibilities:
Produce clear and concise Electrical engineering deliverables appropriate for the intended audience including general arrangement drawings, equipment sizing calculations, equipment and material selection, enquiry documentation, datasheets, schedules and reports.
Develop HV / LV power distribution / motor control centre designs.
Manage / review electrical designs to BS 7671:2018
Compliance with in-house procedural & quality systems.
Contribute to and support the remote teams that you are working with.
Support the development of key multidiscipline deliverables such as P&IDs.;
Managing design interfaces with other disciplines and integration of the Electrical design elements into the overall design.
Working closely with project teams, other engineering disciplines, Project Managers, estimating, site and commissioning teams, CAD, Joint Venture partners and Clients.
Undertaking technical bid assessments,



subcontractor design reviews and providing technical support to site teams.
Providing technical guidance and supervision to project teams.
Define the basis of project design and scope as well as validating and verifying the engineering design, construction, installation, and commissioning.
Promote and manage safety within your assigned projects through the implementation of CDM procedures and practices, ensuring the project engineering is compliant with company, HSE and industry regulations.

Desired experience
Applicants must have excellent IT skills, particularly MS Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of BS 7671 “Requirements for Electrical Installations”
Knowledge of Hazardous Area / Potentially Explosive Atmospheres (BS EN 60079-10 etc.)
Extensive electrical engineering design experience and the ability to assess design work.
Demonstrable experience of delivering electrical engineering projects.
