Job Purpose
To provide strategic and operational leadership for university administration, governance, regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and institutional processes, ensuring effective functioning of the University in accordance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the University's administrative and governance functions across departments and schools.
Ensure compliance with applicable UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NBA, State Government, statutory and other regulatory requirements, as applicable.
Develop, review and implement institutional policies, SOPs, administrative frameworks and governance processes.
Coordinate with statutory, regulatory, government and other external authorities on matters related to University administration and compliance.
Support the Vice Chancellor/Executive Leadership in institutional governance, strategic decision-making and policy execution.
Oversee preparation and maintenance of statutory records, reports, approvals, minutes, notifications and compliance documentation.




Establish effective systems for monitoring regulatory submissions, renewals, approvals, audits and statutory timelines.
Coordinate internal and external audits, inspections, accreditation visits and regulatory reviews.
Strengthen risk management, internal controls and institutional compliance mechanisms.
Ensure effective functioning of committees and governance bodies, including timely meetings, documentation and follow-up of decisions.
Monitor implementation of decisions of statutory and senior management committees.
Identify administrative and compliance risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
Drive process standardisation, digitisation and continuous improvement across administrative functions.
