Role Description This full time, on-site Optometrist role is based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, assessment of ocular health, and evaluation of visual function for customers visiting the retail store. Daily responsibilities include prescribing and adjusting spectacles or contact lenses, advising customers on lens options, and educating them on eye health and preventive care. The role also involves collaborating with sales and retail staff to ensure accurate optical measurements, maintaining documentation and patient records,



and adhering to regulatory and company protocols for quality and safety.
Qualifications

Clinical optometry skills, including eye examinations, refraction, and diagnosis of common vision conditions.
Proficiency in prescribing and fitting spectacles and contact lenses, with attention to customer comfort and visual outcomes.
Ability to operate standard optometric equipment and maintain accurate clinical records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain findings and recommendations in clear, understandable language.
Customer service orientation, with the ability to work collaboratively in a retail environment.
Recognized optometry qualification (e.g., Bachelor or Diploma in Optometry) and eligibility to practice in India.
Prior experience in an optical retail, clinic, or hospital setting is preferred.
