Role Description The High School Spanish Teacher is a full-time remote role responsible for delivering engaging, standards-aligned Spanish instruction to online high school students. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching live and/or asynchronous classes, designing lessons and activities that build language proficiency, and assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects. The teacher will provide timely, constructive feedback, maintain accurate records of student performance, and communicate regularly with students, families,



and support staff. The role also involves participating in curriculum discussions, contributing to course improvements, and supporting a positive, inclusive online classroom environment that encourages participation and cultural awareness.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust Spanish Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners at various proficiency levels.
Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills to create structured, engaging, and standards-based course materials.
Candidates should possess Education-related skills, including knowledge of pedagogy, assessment practices, and online instructional methods.
Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or licensure is preferred.
