Maaya Vanam is a house of brands exploring the idea of belonging. Each brand starts with one question: “How do we help people feel they belong?” Our first brand, Gutful, is built around a straightforward idea: traditional foods reimagined with clean ingredients and convenient formats. And built around the belief, ‘You don’t have to become someone else to belong, you already belong’. Our first product is launching soon, we started taking pre-orders, and we’re now focused on learning, growing, and building a sustainable consumer business.

We’re also building a fragrance brand, which will launch later this year and with more ideas and brands to come over time.

We’re still at the very beginning, and that’s exactly what makes this role interesting.

We’re looking for our second employee: someone who wants to join early, take ownership, and help us build our paid acquisition engine from the ground up.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Performance Marketer whose initial focus will be Gutful.





Your primary responsibility will be to help us build and improve our paid customer acquisition engine, primarily through Meta advertising.

We already have hypotheses about who our customers are and why they might buy our products. Your role will be to help us systematically test those hypotheses, learn from the data, and figure out what actually works.

This is not a role where you’ll be handed a massive advertising budget or a perfectly documented playbook.

We’re still building the playbook. That means you’ll have room to experiment, make recommendations, test ideas, learn from failures, and help shape how performance marketing is done at Maaya Vanam.

As the company grows, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on the said fragrances brand and future brands, and potentially grow into a broader Growth Lead role over time.
