ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Manager – Engineering, you will lead cross‑functional engineering teams responsible for delivering solutions across backend, frontend, and integration layers. You will translate business priorities into clear execution plans, drive sprint outcomes, strengthen engineering quality, and ensure predictable, high‑confidence delivery. This role combines people leadership, technical stewardship, and operational excellence, overseeing adherence to architectural guardrails, enforcing CI/CD and observability standards, maintaining strong security practices, and ensuring production‑ready solutions. You will work closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms that align with enterprise engineering expectations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Planning
• Translate business goals into multi‑sprint engineering plans, capacity forecasts, and measurable outcomes for assigned squads
• Apply engineering governance and platform guardrails; enforce coding standards, security, and data/privacy practices




• Partner with Architecture to sequence modernization (e.g., service decomposition, API-first patterns) and reduce tech debt
• Translate business and product goals into clear technical requirements and map them to appropriate GCP services to ensure scalable and cost‑productive architecture choices.

Delivery and Execution
• Own end‑to‑end delivery for features and releases across backend, frontend, and integrations; ensure performance, resiliency, and maintainability
• Drive SDLC rigor: estimation, quality gates, code reviews, automated testing, and release governance
• Use observability (logs, metrics, traces) to prevent incidents; lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions
• Coordinate dependencies, manage risks/issues, and communicate status to stakeholders with clarity and consistency

• Improve developer productivity through AI assisted development, CI/CD, templates,
