Gym Receptionist – Soho House Mumbai

We are looking for a warm, confident and service-focused Gym Receptionist to join the team at Soho House Mumbai.
This is more than a front-desk role. You will be one of the key faces of our gym, responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our members and guests while supporting the smooth and safe operation of the facility.
What you’ll be doing
Welcome and engage with members and guests, ensuring a warm and personalised experience at every visit.
Build strong relationships and rapport with our members and understand their needs and preferences.
Handle member enquiries, requests and feedback in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Manage the gym entry and exit system, ensuring appropriate access and security procedures are followed.
Support membership administration and maintain accurate member and operational records.
Actively promote available memberships, gym services, challenges and House initiatives.
Encourage members to participate in gym challenges,



wellness initiatives and other activities.
Ensure the gym, reception and surrounding areas are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard throughout the shift.
Carry out regular checks of gym equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Ensure equipment and facilities are secure, clean and ready for member use.
Be attentive to members using the facilities and support their safety and overall enjoyment of the gym.
Follow all Health & Safety, Safeguarding and emergency procedures.
Take ownership of issues as they arise and proactively find solutions.
Escalate incidents, maintenance concerns or member issues appropriately.
Work closely with the wider House team to ensure a seamless member experience.
Support the wider gym and wellness team with day-to-day operational requirements.
