Job Description – IT Change Manager

About the Role

The IT Change Manager is responsible for governing and managing the end-to-end Change Management process to ensure IT changes are assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed with minimal risk and business disruption.

Responsibilities

Own and govern the Change Management process in line with ITIL and organizational policies.
Review change requests for completeness, risk, impact, implementation, testing, rollback, and communication plans.
Manage Standard, Normal, and Emergency changes.
Plan and facilitate CAB, Pre-CAB, and ECAB meetings.
Manage the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC), change calendar, maintenance windows, and change conflicts.
Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers for successful change implementation.
Monitor high-risk and business-critical changes and manage escalations.
Conduct and govern Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs) for failed and major changes.
Track change-related incidents, failures, process deviations, and corrective actions.




Monitor and report Change Management KPIs and trends.
Drive process improvements, audit compliance, and process maturity.

Qualifications

10+ years of overall ITSM/IT Operations experience.
7+ years of hands-on Change Management experience.
ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.
ServiceNow Change Management experience preferred.
Experience in large enterprise or managed services environments is desirable.
Experience working with global teams, customers, suppliers, and multiple technology towers is preferred.
Capable of planning Changes tagged to App release.
Experience with CAB/ECAB governance and change risk assessment.

Required Skills

10+ years of overall ITSM/IT Operations experience.
7+ years of hands-on Change Management experience.
ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.
ServiceNow Change Management experience preferred.
Experience in large enterprise or managed services environments is desirable.
