Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Business Development to drive business growth in the Water and Solid Waste Management sector. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience in business development, tendering, client relationship management, and strategic sales with EPC, environmental, or infrastructure companies. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing the complete bid lifecycle, and developing long-term relationships with government bodies, consultants, and key clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in Water, Wastewater, and Solid Waste Management projects.
· Track and evaluate tenders from Government departments, Municipal Corporations, PSUs, Smart Cities, and Industrial Authorities.
· Lead the complete business development process from chance identification to bid submission and contract award.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, PMCs, and strategic partners.
· Coordinate with technical, commercial, finance,



and legal teams for successful bid preparation and execution.
· Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and prepare business development strategies.
· Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization.
· Prepare business proposals, presentations, MIS reports, and sales forecasts.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
· Achieve business development targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical); MBA in Marketing/Business Management will be an added advantage.
· 15+ years of experience in Business Development within Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Solid Waste Management, Environmental Services, EPC Infrastructure companies.
