Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai, supporting the finance and accounting functions of Transcon Freight Systems Pvt Ltd. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling accounting entries, managing petty cash transactions, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting credit control activities such as follow-up on outstanding payments. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing basic reports,



and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations. The selected candidate is expected to join within 10 days and work closely with the finance team to meet deadlines and comply with company policies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including experience with basic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
Candidates should possess Credit Control skills, with the ability to monitor receivables and follow up professionally on outstanding payments.
Candidates should possess Petty Cash management skills, including accurate handling of cash, expense tracking, and documentation.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and clients and to address account-related queries clearly.
