Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist Typist role based in Siliguri. The Radiologist Typist will be responsible for accurately typing and preparing radiology reports based on dictations provided by radiologists and other medical professionals. The role includes transcribing reports related to MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging examinations, while ensuring correct medical terminology, spelling, formatting, and documentation standards.




Responsibilities include listening to and accurately transcribing radiologist dictations, preparing and formatting diagnostic imaging reports, reviewing reports for typographical and grammatical errors, maintaining consistency in medical terminology, and ensuring reports are completed within specified turnaround times. The Radiologist Typist will work closely with radiologists and clinical staff to clarify unclear dictations or information and will maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
The ideal candidate should have excellent typing speed and accuracy, strong listening and concentration skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with radiology and medical terminology. The ability to work efficiently under deadlines and in a fast-paced hospital environment is essential.
