Job Description
The ideal candidate has and the position requires experience designing the electrical systems of Data Centre Facilities. The position requires experience with the design of the appropriately sized Generators, Switchgear, UPS Systems, transformers, PDU’s and other Mission Critical equipment requiring electrical design skills incorporating reliability and redundancy in design.



The Electrical Engineer applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. The position requires use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in individual’s field. Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, recent concepts, and policy matters. The individual should be able to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of electrical equipment. A minimum of 8-10 years of electrical engineering experience is appropriate. Registration as a licensed PE is usually required for this classification.

Responsibilities
Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set.
Responsible for design and planning of electrical power systems for mission critical Datacentre projects.
