We're hiring two Export Documentation & Sales Executives. Remote, India-based.
At ZoeM International we move fruits, vegetables, spices, seeds and heritage grains from 850+ farmer partners across five Indian states to buyers in more than 10 countries. Twenty-one product categories — chia seeds, red and sella basmati rice, turmeric, black pepper, moringa powder, pomegranates, onions.
Roughly seventy per cent is documentation and coordination. Commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, shipping bills. Booking space with freight forwarders and CHAs, chasing the loading schedule with production and the warehouse, tracking the container to the buyer's port and keeping him updated the whole way there.
The other thirty per cent is buyers. Answering enquiries, preparing quotations, following up until the order is confirmed, staying close to the buyers we already have, and finding current ones through trade portals and APEDA buyer lists.
What we're looking for:
→ 2–5 years in export documentation, ideally agro-commodities, food or FMCG
→ Hands-on with BL,
COO, shipping bills and the full pre-shipment set
→ Comfortable working with freight forwarders and CHAs
→ Familiar with Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR) and payment terms (LC, TT, DA/DP)
→ Strong written English — nearly all buyer communication happens over email
→ Bachelor's in Commerce, International Business, Agribusiness or similar
→ A plus: exposure to APEDA, DGFT or ICEGATE portals, and to Letters of Credit
Two things matter to us more than the CV. Accuracy, because export documentation admits no approximation. And telling us early when something has gone wrong — an issue raised early is managed; raised late it becomes a claim.
We are APEDA registered and FSSAI certified, with GMP, HACCP and Halal certifications and FIEO membership.
