Finance Business Partner — Supply Chain

Role Overview
The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner is the finance lens embedded inside the group's Supply Chain function — the single accountable finance person supporting the CSCO on the commercial, cost and margin implications of every material supply chain decision.
Neve is a jewellery group where supply chain is not a support function — it is the source of the group's largest single cost line, its largest single balance sheet asset (inventory), and its largest single lever on gross margin. The Supply Chain FBP owns the finance conversation on all of this: how much we source, from whom, at what commercial terms, held in what inventory position, financed how.
The role reports solid-line into the Head of Business Partnering — preserving the independence and standard-setting authority of finance — and dotted-line into the CSCO, ensuring day-to-day partnership, presence in supply chain forums, and immediate commercial support to supply chain leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & ODM/OEM Commercial Finance




Own the finance view on ODM and OEM commercial relationships — decode supplier-controlled multipliers, cost build-ups, and margin structures, and translate them into a commercial framework the CSCO can act on
Support the CSCO on supplier negotiations — build cost models, benchmark analyses and margin waterfalls that inform position-taking
Partner with the CSCO on supplier consolidation, sourcing strategy shifts, and any structural changes to the group's supply base
Identify and quantify opportunities for margin recovery or margin protection across the sourcing portfolio
Inventory & Working Capital
Own the finance view on inventory strategy — stock levels, location, aging, wastage, and the working-capital implications of each
Partner with Supply Chain leadership on inventory optimisation programmes — right-sizing stock across brands, geographies and channels
Provide the finance input to make-vs-buy decisions, safety
