Role Overview
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations of heat exchangers, ensuring production targets are met with the required quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The role requires hands-on supervision of shop-floor activities, manpower allocation, process monitoring, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
o Supervise daily production activities including fabrication, welding, brazing, assembly, and testing of heat exchangers.
o Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
o Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and quality teams to avoid delays and rework.
Shop Floor Supervision
o Monitor and guide operators, welders, fitters, and technicians on the shop floor.
o Allocate manpower and resources to different production lines.
o Ensure proper machine setup, material availability, and workflow continuity.
Quality & Compliance




o Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards (ASME, ISO, TEMA, etc. where applicable).
o Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, scrap, and rejections.
o Maintain adherence to safety and compliance norms on the shop floor.
Continuous Improvement
o Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
o Implement Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
o Monitor KPIs such as productivity, yield, downtime, and efficiency.
People Management
o Supervise and motivate shop floor workers, ensuring discipline and teamwork.
o Conduct training on safety, process standards, and new technologies.
o Ensure adherence to company policies and labor regulations.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 2-4 years in production supervision, preferably in heat exchangers, pressure vessels, fabrication, or heavy engineering manufacturing.
Strong technical knowledge of welding, brazing, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with production planning tools and ERP systems.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and shop floor best practices.
