About The Firm & RequirementAdvait Battery Ecosystem Pvt. Ltd. is a high-growth clean energy company operating across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). ABEPL is setting up a 2.5 GWh BESS Assembly Plant in Gujarat, covering the complete manufacturing chain from cell to module, module to pack, and pack to container, and is concurrently executing multiple BESS-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects for utility-scale battery storage deployment.To support this expansion, AGPL seeks a Project Manager to own and drive the master project schedule for the BESS Assembly Plant – from plant build-out through commissioning and production ramp-up – and, in parallel, to track and coordinate the project schedules of AGPL's BESS IPP-based projects, ensuring manufacturing output and site-level delivery milestones stay aligned.Designation: Project Manager – BESS Manufacturing & IPP ProjectsDepartment: Projects / PMOLocation: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (with travel to IPP project/site locations as required)Mode of Working: Full-time, on-site with periodic site travelTarget Joining: As per business requirementEducational Qualification & Criteria• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.• PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project-management certification strongly preferred.• MBA is an added advantage but not mandatory.Experience• 8–12 years in project management/project planning & scheduling, with exposure to both capital-project execution (plant setup, EPC, commissioning) and utility-scale power or energy-storage project delivery.• Prior experience managing manufacturing-plant projects alongside customer-facing IPP / EPC power projects is highly preferred.Qualified & Personal Abilities• Strong hands-on command of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 for schedule development,



resource loading, critical-path analysis, and baseline/variance tracking.• Comfortable managing two parallel project portfolios – an internal capex/manufacturing schedule and multiple external, contractually-milestoned IPP project schedules – without losing sight of either.• Working understanding of the BESS/IPP project lifecycle – tendering, EPC execution, equipment dispatch, grid connectivity/interconnection approvals, commissioning, and handover to O&M.;• Strong stakeholder-management and escalation skills; able to interface confidently with senior management, EPC contractors, equipment vendors, transmission utilities/DISCOMs, and internal cross-functional teams.• Sharp analytical ability to translate complex, multi-workstream schedules into clear dashboards and management-ready reports; comfortable tying schedule slippage to cost and delivery risk.• High ownership and follow-through – proactively surfaces risks and drives recovery plans rather than only reporting status.Key Job Responsibilities• Develop, own and maintain the master project schedule for the BESS Assembly Plant (2.5 GWh) – covering civil works, plant & machinery installation, utility tie-ins, commissioning, and production ramp-up.• Track critical path, milestones and interdependencies across EPC contractors, equipment vendors,



and internal Engineering/Production teams for the manufacturing project; proactively flag and escalate schedule risks.• Own and track project schedules for AGPL's BESS IPP-based projects – from order booking through manufacturing, dispatch, site installation, and commissioning – in coordination with the respective project/site teams.• Bridge the manufacturing production schedule with outbound IPP project delivery commitments, ensuring dispatch plans are aligned with site readiness, logistics lead-times, and contractual milestones.• Prepare and circulate periodic (weekly/monthly) schedule status reports and dashboards for management review, covering both the manufacturing project and the IPP project portfolio.• Liaise with EPC contractors, OEM suppliers, transmission utilities/DISCOMs, and internal stakeholders to track IPP project approvals, grid-connectivity milestones, and commissioning schedules.• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and contract milestone trackers; drive corrective/recovery action plans where schedules slip.• Support project cost/budget tracking in coordination with Finance and Procurement, highlighting cost impact of schedule changes where relevant.• Chair and drive cross-functional coordination meetings (Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, Site/Project teams) to unblock schedule bottlenecks.Soft Skills / Software Needed• MS Project and/or Primavera P6 (mandatory – at least one), MS Excel and PowerPoint for dashboards/MIS, ERP exposure (SAP / Oracle or similar) an advantage; strong written and verbal communication for contractor and management reporting.How to Apply & Last Date of Applying• Email to [email protected]• Apply on the website https://www.advaitgroup.co.in/latest-openings/• For any queries: +91 85111 26390
