About Duratuf
We're an industrial safety company in Kolkata, with our own office and warehouse in the UAE. Our equipment keeps workers protected at 4,142+ customers across 65+ countries — when it works, someone gets to go home to their family. We're on our way to 10,000 protected workplaces by 2035.

The Role
You'll build and run our whole People & Culture function — starting from almost nothing — and turn People into one of the company's real strengths. This is a hands-on leadership job: senior enough to design the system, close enough to still hire a key person yourself. You'll report to the CEO and own the result, not a task list.

What you'll own, end to end:
Hiring — build the pipeline, the process, and our name as an employer, so the founders don't have to find people themselves.
HR Operations & Compliance — keep our HR system clean and current, handle payroll inputs and legal compliance (PF, ESI, POSH),



and give every new hire a smooth start.
Performance — set clear goals, run the review cycle, and work with the founders to help every person do their best.
Culture & Engagement — bring our values to life, keep a pulse on how people feel, and keep attrition low.
Learning & AI — set up onboarding, run regular training, and get the team using AI in daily work.
People & Team — plan ahead for hiring, advise the CEO, and build and lead a small People team of 3–5 that grows with the company.

What Success Looks Like
20+ roles closed this year, all top-quality hires
HR system clean and current, every offer letter out within 48 hours
Every employee working to explicit quarterly goals, with the first full review cycle done on time
First engagement survey run with 80%+ taking part, and attrition held at 15% or below
Proper onboarding for every hire, AI used across the company, and a quarterly training cale
