Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Airtel Engineer and Wireman role based in Kanpur. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecom network equipment, cabling, and wiring systems to ensure reliable voice and data services.



Responsibilities include performing site surveys, supporting network upgrades, assisting with 5G and fiber deployments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires close coordination with field teams, network operations, and vendors to resolve technical issues quickly and minimize service interruptions. The role also includes documenting work performed, maintaining tools and equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement of network performance.
Qualifications

Solid understanding of basic electrical systems and telecom wiring, including installation, routing, and termination of cables.
Knowledge of network fundamentals (e.g., fiber optics, routers, switches, RF equipment) and ability to work with telecom infrastructure.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, circuit layouts, and work orders, and follow standard operating procedures.
