About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support the development and implementation of Neosem’s Automated Memory Test solutions.
In this role, you will act as the in office technical expert, ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for automated test systems and applications
Assist design engineers in preparing and developing user manuals
Work with industrial communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, CC-Link, and PROFINET
Support and troubleshoot vision systems used in automation controls
Analyze system logs (event logs, error logs) to identify root causes of issues
Troubleshoot PC-based motion control systems and industrial I/O interfaces (digital/analog)
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and end-user training
Perform other duties as assigned




Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation controls or related fields
Strong knowledge of industrial networks, system configuration, and electrical control circuits
Good understanding of automated electro-mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
Hands-on experience with sensors, servo motors, stepper motors, and drives
Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation to learn and improve processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
