Job Description: Senior Payroll Specialist (EOR & Indian Payroll)

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team, with a strong focus on Employer of Record (EOR) services, consulting payroll, and comprehensive HRMS management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Indian payroll regulations, including ESI, PF, and all Indian taxations, and will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for our clients or internal employees.

This role is a builder role for someone who takes personal accountability, is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and thrives in a fast-paced workplace.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll & Compliance Management

End-to-End Payroll Processing: Own the end-to-end payroll cycle, from data collection to final salary disbursement,



ensuring accuracy and timeliness for employees in India and other APAC countries (as applicable).
Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all Indian statutory requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and TDS deductions under Section 192.
Taxation & Reporting: Manage payroll tax reporting, filings, and statutory payments. Oversee TDS returns (Form 24Q), Form 16 generation, and ensure compliance with new and old tax regimes.
Reconciliation: Execute detailed payroll reconciliations, validating current results against prior periods and source data to identify and correct errors.

EOR Services & Consulting

EOR Payroll Expertise: Manage payroll operations for employees hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) model, ensuring compliance with state-wise employment laws and statutory contributions.
Client/Stakeholder Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert, consulting with internal stakeholders or clients on pay
