JOB DESCRIPTION

Tax Specialist is responsible for identifying property Taxes for the current and future payments and updating the same in Selene system for Tax team to disburse funds when they are due.
Tax specialist has to be well versed with commercial Escrow tax policies




Tax specialist validates the property tax information with assessor websites
Ensure all the tax ids are verified and researched on multi collateral properties.
Responsible to verify the tax id’s as per different documents for correctness and report if any discrepancies.
Identify the property tax frequency of payments and authority
Selene system will be updated with latest tax information obtained from the assessor websites.
Tax specialists is responsible to add tax line in Selene system when the account is escrowed for taxes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Servicing and Default management in developing Mortgage Training Plans and Curriculum Roadmaps for both current hire and existing staff.
Strengthen the Mortgage Training Capability with scheduling recurring training classes on updates as well as sections with quality feedback.
Assist the Servicing and Default management with the Knowledge Acquisition and Knowledge Trans
