Job Description Title: Associate Engineer (P1) (Hybrid)
What You Will Do
Assessment of MOC (Material of Concern)
data at Part and Assembly level material and finish processes.
Coordinate with design team in material selection and MOC validation for new designs as per company policy.
Identify and validate the alternative materials for REACH compliance.
Work with customers to address chemical regulatory queries and provide supporting documentation.
Identification of regulatory risk to products and prepare a mitigation plan.
Propose sustainable alternatives and lead long-term roadmaps for high-impact material transitions.
Qualifications You Must Have
4 to 6 years of work experience.
Bachelor’ degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Material, or Metallurgical Engineering.
Primary Skills
Robust understanding of global chemical regulatory frameworks (REACH, CLP, GHS, RoHS, TSCA, etc.).
Knowledge on digital tools e.g., CDX, SAP EHSM, Sphera and other tools for chemical regulation risk mitigation.
Strong understanding of electronic materials, soldering process
